If you choose X-men: The Last Stand over To Kill a Mockingbird, you shouldn't be allowed to watch movies anymore.

It really depends on how you construct your flickchart. If you go by definite quality and filmmaking, then you have to choose To Kill a Mockingbird; but if you go by more "personal" parameters like entertainment, you are free to choose either film. That said, I will go with X-Men: The Last Stand. It is the inferior movie, but I had more fun watching it.

I understand where you are coming from CT but really a Rat-branded movie over To Kill a Mockingbird?!?

I always pick according to which movie I enjoyed more, so I agree with CeeTee's Flickchart philosophy. That said, I liked To Kill a Mockingbird a hell of a lot more than X-Men: The Last Stand.

I don't think you have to choose To Kill a Mockingbird whatever your methodology. That's one movie that falls definitively short of its rep.

To Kill a Mockingbird touched upon racism in a much more mature and reserved fashion than X3 did.

The fact that this comparison even has a "discussion" to it is sickening. Even the far superior X-men, X2, and X-men: First Class shouldn't be in the same discussion thread as To Kill a Mockingbird. The Last Stand is a disaster of a movie. And we are wondering whether it "stands" up to an all time great like Mockingbird? With two of the most fantastic performances in movie history (Peck and Duvall), To Kill a Mockingbird should be in everyone's top 100.
