Wow, could we have two movies that are more different? It's these kinds of choices that I find really difficult, though not so much with this particular one. While "300" has a very unique visual style working in its favor, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I've seen "Shawshank" twice, and I actually liked it better the second time. It is, deservedly, a classic.

300 is the ultimate dude movie and I really enjoyed it, but Shawshank is phenomenal.
