Two really good movies both directed by Paul WS Anderson.

As far as video game based movies go, these are by far the best two. I'm going to have to give the edge to Mortal Kombat just for the cheesy fun of it all, it's a movie that's still fun to watch in groups to this day.

Yeah, these are two of the greatest video game adaptations of all time, but that's not really saying much, because even though I enjoyed "Resident Evil" on a certain level, it's not a good movie.
Mortal Kombat was vastily more entertaining. Two of the more superior video game adaptations...but MK wins, due mostly to it's fantastic theme song.

Mortal Kombat was basically the 90s in a nutshell. Hey, I never said the 90s were good.
