Two Kurosawa classics...it's really not fair to have to choose! Seven Samurai just BARELY gets the edge.

Rashomon has moments and scenes that Seven Samurai cannot touch, but it's not the better film because of how wildly inconsistent Rashomon is.

Love both,but Rashomon is better imo.It has some great visuals in it.

Isn't the inconsistency of Rashomon kinda the whole point? The main idea behind it is that there's no such thing as absoulute truth, seeing as how everyone has such a radically different perspective and idea of what the truth is. Anyway, as far as this matchup goes, I don't have much to say seeing as how I've never seen The Seven Samurai. Probably should get around to that one...
