No comments? These are two top 10 Sci-Fi's for me. Both are very thought provoking and make you question the world and society at large as it presents itself to you. Both have philosophical and religious overtones. Very close call for me. I'm going with the original Planet of the Apes.

Planet of the Apes is good but The Matrix could easly wins

cant choose between some of the greats of cinema best! I like APE more but Matrix always blows me away its a modern masterpiece while both are super smart and stylish got to be Matrix!
