The Legend of Hell House was boring, and the ending was just stupid. And Soon the Darkness was merely mediocre, as opposed to being a chore to sit through. Both movies seemed like they might amount to something, but no... And Soon the Darkness looked like it might be a Turistas or Hostel-type flick, but doesn't deliver at all. The Legend of Hell House had eerie atmosphere, but the final confrontation with the evil house was terrifically lame. So, I'll take And Soon the Darkness because at least it went by quick enough.
