Wow, never thought I'd see that happen.

My "Jump to Conclusions" mat wants me to go with the one on the right. Hooray, The Godfather wins.

Top 3 in my mind have always been virtually equal. Office Space and Enter The Dragon switched around a couple times, but I began leaning more towards Office Space as I became less focussed on MA as a hobby/pursuit. The Godfather was held constant (on my chart, not necessarily in my head) because it's more conventionally laudable. And because it's longer. It's always been a case of Corleone vs Gibbons and they're both reflective of my personality/outlook in some way (or they moulded my personality/outlook - it's bidirectional, I'm sure). Corleone, the ruthless man of reason that's down for his fam', used to beat out Gibbons' workplace neurosis and general anguish AND the "zonked out" Gibbons' utterly relaxed, 'no fucks to give' transient alter-ego. Working life eventually whittled down my resolve and the Corleone part of me (solid, ambitious, pragmatic) seems to have been killed off. A recent secondment to London Olympics has solidified the once nascent theory that Office Space ushered in all those years ago: I hate working. I will always hate working. I've been a Maths Tutor, worked in a boiler room as a Sales dick, Customer Services, Estate Agent/Realtor, Tennis Coach, Accounts, Share Trading and now managing a team of graduates for Olympic Media Transportation. Not once have I gone to bed not thinking "Maaan, I really don't wanna wake up for work tomorrow". The graduates I lead (two Historians, a Chemical Engineer, an Electrical Engineer, a Sports Business grad, a Financial Accountant, a Nurse, a Civil Servant... and others on similar secondments) ALL say they enjoy their job to some degree. Even the fucking Accountant! Like, what??? Sorry Michael Corleone, but Peter Gibbons is looking like the more profound character at this point in time. Also helps that my hatred for Jennifer Aniston has completely disappeared. OK, so no completely...

On a side note, American news corporations hire some of the most gorgeous women. A whole bunch of NBC girls have descended upon London and really charged up a few boners. There was this one intern today that must've been a fucking supermodel looking to pad her portfolio. Kudos to you guys over there; may your hirings continue to be shallow and your pants continue to bulge as a result.
