Nice similar matchup. Maximus is the clear victor, and would have represented District 12 with honor
Gladiator just isn't my thing.
The Hunger Games is pretty good but I like Gladiator a lot more.

Gladiator wins mostly beacuse it has no shaky cam. The shaky cam in THG is so dreadful that there was nothing about it that made us give a shit about most of these fighters, the director didn't look like he was handling the material with care to show the grimness of the world that this franchise exists in. It is the most ungrim and unepic sort of action scenes I've ever seen in a film that was supposed to be dark and grim.
