The Invisible Man is leagues better than Dracula.

Yeah, Dracula is pretty awful. The Invisible Man isn't much better, but it at least features some impressive visual effects.

Dracula is such a stodgy production, notable only for all the groundwork it laid for the later 1930s horrors(even The Mummy is more competently crafted!), and it almost seems unfair how much better The Invisible Man is. Claude Rains could out-act Bela Lugosi any day of the week, and Invisible Man is up there as one of Whale's best horror features alongside Bride of Frankenstein, and is a classy film even to this day. Easy choice.
