Dreamgirls vs. Top Gun

Ok so yeah yeah I am a "chick" but that doesn't necesarily mean I am going to go with the chick flick, in fact most people who know me know that I am a huge action flick watcher and an avid zombie buff...so that kind of cuts out the stereo type right there....but how do I choose between movies like these two? Top Gun was one of the first movies I ever saw on a VHS tape, probably not the Most appropriate due to the age I was, but a pivotal movie none the less
