One the one hand Jurassic Park III kills off a beloved franchise, on the other, it lacks Will Ferrell.
I'm going with Elf. Modern Christmas classics are hard to come by these days and Elf is one of the few examples. I think Buddy the Elf is the kind of character that Adam Sandler always tries to create but never quite does it. Farrell makes him childish and impulsive, but he's not unpleasant to watch and the slapstick and story elements are fused together instead of working against each other.
