The Matrix, like most fanboy movies, is extremely overrated. It's awesome but not anywhere near as good as Forrest Gump.
Forrest is one of the handful of movies that topples the Matrix.
The Matrix by far. I never really understood the appeal of Forrest Gump.
Forrest is now my pick.

The Matrix, it feels tightly packed. while Forrest seems kind of meandering.
