Not impossible for me. Star Wars is, of course, very fun, and it changed the way movies are made. (The world of movie making will forever owe George Lucas a debt, no matter what he's doing now.) But Children of Men is a work of art. I adore that movie.

Hardest choice to date HOWEVER, without Star Wars, we would not have been cursed with Jar Jar Binks...Children of Men wins

Suprisingly easy choice for me as well. Agreed 'Star Wars' is great and fun, but 'Children of Men' is almost perfect.

I was born in 1988, so perhaps this is why Star Wars didn't impact me the way it has many others, so it's Children of Men for me.

Wow, lots of people who prefer CoM. I thought it was overrated myself, with a heavy-handed message and heavier-handed imagery. A New Hope might not be the best one, but it's better than CoM, for me.

Although I'm not a huge Children of Men fan, I definitely don't share the nostalgia many people do with Star Wars, and whilst I enjoyed it as a child, going back over it now some of it even seems ridiculous! Plus, that final steadycam scene kicks ass.

i loooove star wars. but the directing style and camera work in CoM amazes me every time i watch it. if this was empire strikes back itd be different, but CoM

Children of Men definitely. If this were Empire Strikes Back, then it might swing the other way.

Easy choice. Star Wars wins hands down. Children of Men suffers not only from excessive dreariness, but from failing to explore its premise.

So difficult. Children of Men is beautifully made but the childhood nostalgia of VHS Star Wars wins.
