Same here--I loved Ghost Protocol from beginning to end, and I only liked the first M:I.
Ghost Protocol was off the charts awesome. Totally wasn't ready for it...

The two best MI films. Im gonna say MI wins this just.
I like III the best, but Ghost Protocol is a close second.
Does the first Mission: Impossible have Paula Patton? Noooope. Ghost Protocol (aside from having Paula Patton) was also a bit more entertaining than the original. That Burj Khalifa scene is one of the coolest action scenes I've ever seen.
Before Ghost Protocol, I hadn't seen a single Mission Impossible film, and I watched it only because of Brad Bird's involvement. The fact that Bird directed probably has a lot to do with why I liked it as much as I did, since I couldn't get into the first movie one bit.
