If Beale Street Could Talk vs. Blindspotting

Gotta go Blindspotting here. It's more overt, and I think for that reason, more successful in landing its message.

Blindspotting easily crushes Beale Street in EVERY way, especially with pacing, humor, and catharsis.

Hard to say for me, but I just want to say that imo it's not fair to say Blindspotting gets its message across better, because Beale Street isn't really a message movie to me. Blindspotting is a movie built entirely around its ideas, whereas Beale Street is a lived in character piece that touches on issues.
