Two classic CGI films. Monsters Vs. Aliens has some really excellent moments in it which is why I am a little sad to have to pick Up. That movie just fires on all cylinders.
Umm...not a lot of thought needed here...
I have difficulty understanding the sweeping popularity of Up. It's an okayish film, sur, but it hardly boasts a significant amount of fun or funny. What am I missing? (And don't say 'heart' because that accusation has been made before and it means nothing to me.)

As much as I despise UP for robbing the several other exceptional animated films of that year from a well-deserved Oscar...I can admit that it is a MUCH better effort than MVA was.

Up is one of the all time greats easy! fun funny and tons of heart dont even compare to its visuals and color extremely well made UP! all the way.
