Monsieur Verdoux vs. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Two serial-killers. One of them's Charlie Chaplin (playing for laughs). Perfume could've been a much better film in the style of Silence of the Lambs, or it could have easily been a cheap horror/slasher flick. Somehow it's neither and it's the worse for it. Monsieur Verdoux is just odd. It's still Chaplin up to his old stuff, but killing women for their money along the way... Perfume is marginally the better.
