Two beautiful and heart-wrenching looks at love. Silver Linings Playbook is a stronger overall cast and Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are equal to the inspiring performances from John Hawkes and Helen Hunt.

love both but Silver Linings Playbook made me laugh smile and felt so fresh and charming. man Sessions was great but the subject matter (sexy as it is and man Hunt dazzled) its not as fun and i had so much fun with Lawerence and Cooper.

The Sessions was an interesting premise squandered by a flat, two-dimensional screenplay and weak direction. Silver Linings Playbook, while cliché and predictable, does feel much more complete as a film.
