Star Trek: First Contact vs. 12 Monkeys

Two cool time-travel stories, right here. But most of the time, I'll go for fun even over substance, and First Contact is definitely more fun. (I don't think it's without substance, either, but hey.) Also, I think it's worth mentioning that each of these movies contains one of my all-time favorite movie performances: Brad Pitt is, of course, frikkin' fantastic in Monkeys (second only to his work in Se7en, IMO). And Alice Krige manages totally creepy and yet kinda sexy as the Borg Queen in First Contact. Oh, it probably doesn't help 12 Monkeys that I'm a die-hard Trekkie. Jesus, this comment is all over the place...
