Damn some weird shit came out in 1977.

This is actually a tricky matchup because of how weird both films are- I'm gonna lean towards Eraserhead since it doesn't bother as much with the "plot" side and hence goes farther just on pure nightmare imagery. But this was a tough call.

i love both, but eraserhead's intensity and themes beats hausu's inventiveness and hilarity for me
