These movies feature two of my three favorite Tom Cruise performances. Say what you will about the man, I think he's a fantastic actor. I love both of these movies, but I think Collateral is just phenomenal.

I too enjoy both of these films, and do not get some of the hate towards Tom Cruise. Its a close one for me, but 'Collateral' wins out by a tad.

I usually don't like Tom Cruise, but I definitely think he does a better job playing a sociopathic villain than a sympathetic hero. Collateral is the clear choice to me.
I'm in the minority on this one so far.

I too don't understand the Tom Cruise hate. I think he's a fantastic actor. Strangely, most of my favorite Tom Cruise movies are really close to each other on flickchart. These two, and The Last Samurai. I see myself changing my mind often, but I'm going with Collateral for now.

Collateral was great, but Minority Report is an easy pick for me this time, although, to some extent, it depends what mood are you in. On thing's for sure, they are both entertaining as hell.

Minority Report, it's the better movie, tough Collateral has the better performance

Collateral just fell short of greatness (still love it though), which is why I'm going with MR on this one.

Collateral has the more important Cruise performance, one of his best, but as a complete package, I prefer Minority Report.

Collateral for a superior Cruise performance and tighter story
