I do like Peter Jackson's King Kong, but Godzilla kills it.

Everyone has a few films of mixed-to-poor reviews they consider to be truly underrated misunderstood masterpieces. Peter Jackson's "King Kong" is one of mine.

while the 2005 Kong is too long, the 2014 Godzilla barely has Godzilla in it!
