Both visually stunning with effects galore! but Both had dreadful story and characters so disappointing they could have been masterpieces but were not great each have solid last 25 minuets but terrible origin rehashes and stupid character choices and overall just decent films! Man of Steel gets the win!

Two films with a lot of hype which ultimately misfired spectacularly. Both have things which I liked about them, but equally both had enough to rant and rave about as well. While Man of Steel is probably the more problematic film for what it is (or at least, more people have been willing to rip it to shreds for the problems which it has), if I were being truly honest with myself, I would say that I was more disappointed by Godzilla, not being a massive fan of Superman or Zack Snyder etc. So for now, on that basis, Man of Steel slips by for being less infuriating than Godzilla. Make no mistake though, I don't like either of these films.

Terribly disappointed in both. Godzilla blew fire down a monster's throat, so I'll go with Godzilla I guess.

I hated Godzilla. They showed Robots more than Godzilla. Man of Steel easily wins this.
