Batman Begins is the far superior film featuring Ken Watanabe.
Batman Begins has more substance.
Batman begins by a mile
Even though their endings work perfectly as setups for a sequel, they still feel complete as individual chapters. Begins is better imo even if Godzilla has more cinematically transcendent moments (the halo jump is the balls).

Godzilla had about two moments which I really liked (three if you separate the final fight and the final scene which pretty much immediately follows). Aside from that, it's easily one of the most disappointing, overrated films of the year which people have been rather desperate to defend (and by "desperate", I mean really clutching at straws). Batman Begins is better in pretty much every way, aside from looking a little dated in places. No contest here.
Godzilla was one big swing and a miss of a reboot. BB takes this one.
