Ah what a tough choice. Of course I grew up watching the Indiana Jones trilogy and Last Crusade is my personal favorite albeit it may not be the best film out of the three. Alien on the other hand, is such a great sci fi thriller and to me is the standard of that genre. Plus, it's just a purely badass movie. While I might go with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade for fun rewatchability, my gut instinct is to go with Alien.
"Fun rewatchability" is one of my main criteria when Flickcharting. Frankly, both of these manage to fall under that, but it's why Last Crusade gets the nod.
I'm a hardcore defender of Raiders of the Lost Ark as the best of the Indiana Jones series, but Last Crusade is my distant second choice. Since it is so distant, though, Last Crusade doesn't really benefit from my Raiders adulation. Alien is a much more effective as an horror flick than Last Crusade is as an adventure flick. I always thought Last Crusade relied way too much on silly humor, and that the ending was weak. Alien gets the job done, and there's no goofiness that dilutes the suspense.

I think previous commenters have got it right. If it were Raiders, it would be a different story, but Alien wins this matchup by a small margin.
Raiders is definitely better than Crusade, but that doesn't mean Crusade isn't great as well. Crusade is much more entertaining for me than Alien, so it wins here.

Last Crusade had a fantastic finale. Alien disappointed me a lot in that aspect. But overall as well, I enjoyed Last Crusade more. Indy over Ripley here.
Tough one, but I'll go with Last Crusade. The Ford/Connery chemistry is simply perfect...
Last Crusade, Alien is good its just not that special.
