A battle of two lesser sequels in otherwise excellent series.

battle of the 3s huh? I pick BttF, although these are both among the weaker installments in their respective series

While both are weak third entries, Alien3 was not the worst (Alien Resurrection wins that award) of it's series. Also, Alien3 follows on the heels of two movies VASTLY superior to the Back to the Future trilogy. "Overrated" doesn't begin to describe...

Back To The Future is a part three done right. Not many can say that including Aliens, Batman or Superman.
My hate for these movies may be more based on spite due to tainting the glory that was their predecessors than being based on their respective movie quality.
Marty McFly...er....Clint Eastwood as he prefered to be called. BTTF III.
