Two awesome Hitchcock movies; Rear Window is leagues ahead still. Features awesome performances by Jimmy Stewart that truly elevate the film to another level....Jimmy Stewart FTW!

Rope might be my least favorite Alfred Hitchcock film; I just don't think the movie works at all. Rear Window crushes...

I absolutely loved both and they both kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. Overall, out of the 11 Hitchcock films I've seen, Rear Window is my favorite.

Both of these are suspenseful, one-location based Hitchcock films. For me though, the best is "Rope" because it is ten times more suspenseful than "Rear Window".

Good Hitchcock matchup. Rear Window I suppose.

Rear Window is a more experienced Hitchcock

Both set in one spot. I think I'll take Rear Window over Rear Window-lite.

I agree with Caesar, I didn't like Rope at all. I thought the premise of the killer hiding the body in his house to be incredibly stupid. On the other hand, Rear Window is a one room masterpiece. No competition here.
