How did no ever rank these together before? Okay, so what we have here are the two most popular movies from the 1970s-nostalgia-for-the-1950s fad, which also gave us Happy Days, Sha Na Na, etc. American Graffiti is the "better made" film, but Grease is more fun.

Yep, Grease wins for being more fun.
Both are great 50s throwbacks but American Graffiti beats out Danny and Sandy.

American Graffiti is the better film. I'm sure Grease is more popular, but AG was a better film.
