I admire "The Godfather," but I love "The Wizard of Oz."

For many years, I had Wizard of Oz rated higher. However, after watching Godfather again recently, I made a change in my rankings. For years, I felt Shawshank, 12 Angry Men, Wizard of Oz and On the Waterfront were the best films I had ever seen. After watching Godfather once again, I finally realized that any critic or fan who says Godfather is the greatest film ever is right. Even though I believe Shawshank and 12 Angry Men are better, I would not argue with someone who says Godfather is better. Every scene is perfect and the direction and acting are unparallelled.
Oz is crushed by The Corleone's.

The Godfather is the better film, regardless of the fact they are both classics and two very different types of film.
