Probably much debated in '83, thie is a no brainer now. Roger Moore and Octopussy mop the floor with Connery and his cheesy Thunderball remake.

Wait, what? These two Bond movies are actually among my favourites. Not the cream of the crop, but very enjoyable. I personally prefer Never Say Never Again because its much better than the original (Thunderball), and combines some of the best aspects of the Connery Bond flicks and the Moore Bond films. Plus, Kim Basinger is easily one of the greatest Bond girls of all time. Though Octopussy is awesome as well.
Yesterday
Man, what a year. To be slammed with not one, but two crappy Bond movies. Octopussy is silly but is the lesser evil here. Never Say Never Again reeks of wasted potential. Connery back as Bond (again) but its a remake of Thunderball. Too bad, a movie with an aging Bond has some good potential to be interesting.
