Man on Wire vs. Touching the Void

I love documentaries...though I'm less enthused about docs which rely on "reenactments", which both of these highly acclaimed examples do too much of. Man on Wire wins due to the fact it uses the reenactment crutch less. Touching the Void should of just been a feature film after all is said and done.

I love both. I'm not too bothered about re-enactments if they are done well, and in Touching the Void they are done VERY well. But while Touching the Void is a very gripping story and it is retold and contextualised very well, Man on Wire is a better film overall in my opinion. Man on Wire wins.
