Thanks! I saw your response, and I agree with it completely. And I must say that you have a cool list: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Snatch...you even have Kick-Ass in your top 50, which is awesome. Great taste in movies.

No problem. I don't want you to hype it up too much from it's position on my list. It's a movie that I like pretty much more than anyone. I don't think it's better than many of the movies on my list, but I get more enjoyment from it than many on my list. If you like crazy over-the-top movies, give it a shot. Just don't take it seriously. Plus, I really like Paul Giamatti's self aware villain. He's seen the 80's action movies and knows what not to do. I found it very funny also, especially when Smith is angry.

Cool. That's the same way I tend to rank on here as well -- often times I'll find myself ranking movies I know aren't "good" over films that are works of art, but that's just because somehow I grew an attachment to a movie like Necessary Roughness growing up so too bad Schindler's List, you lose this battle. So yeah, I get that it's a personal preference.

I've never heard of Necessary Roughness before. Movies are subjective anyway, so they may as well be what you enjoy the most. Pretty much like the oscars. I guess it's fun at home when your favourites win, but somewhere else, someone is cursing the very same result. That's why I don't understand some people on flickchart who get so mad at what movie someone chooses as a preference, who cares. Do they think their isn't a movie they like that can be criticized? Hope you like Shoot 'Em Up if you decide to watch it, or I'll kill you!! :)

What did you think of The Longest Daycare? I just watched it myself.

I thought it was cute, but it didn't do a whole lot for me beyond that. I mean I loved the Simpsons back in the day, but I rarely catch an episode these days for much the same reason. Just feels like ground that they've covered before. I wasn't disappointed in it, but my expectations weren't particularly high going in. Having seen all of the animated shorts, I'll be pulling for Paperman or Head over Heels to take home the Oscar.

What were your thoughts on it?

My thoughts exactly dgalido. I enjoyed Paperman more than Longest Daycare, but i haven't seen Head over Heels.

I must add that I love that you have Dr Horrible in your top ten. How awesome is it! I have some of the songs on my iPad that I always listen to.
