It's cool to see someone else with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ranked so highly. That film is vastly underappreciated.

Yes, it is currently. It's always been a three-way battle between Memento, TDK and The Prestige. Inception is also excellent. Nice choice.

Any new movies you plan on watching soon?

Goodfellas is a very good movie. I hope you enjoy it. It's one of my favorite Scorsese films along with The Wolf of Wall Street, The Aviator, and Taxi Driver.

As for new movies I plan on watching I have quite a menu. I'm going to watch Road to Perdition, Point Break, The Untouchables, Bullitt, Apocalypse Now, and The Great Escape.

It's funny you should mention Monty Python and the Holy Grail because I plan on seeing that one fairly soon as well.

I still need to try catch Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in theaters. I also want to see Guardians of the Galaxy. The big release I'm waiting for is Interstellar in November.

When did you watch Sinister? I remember it seemed creepy but I never ended up seeing it.

Cool, I'll have to check it out if you end up buying it.

I thought the new TMNT movie was pretty good and thought it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The movie did have a few issues but I was able to look past them. It doesn't top the original 1990 movie for me but I'd say it's my second favorite Turtles movie.

One thing I would say about it is that it's really banking on its audience to be TMNT fans. It just kind of assumes that you know all their personalities and how everything relates already. It seemed to be like a "greatest hits" Ninja Turtles movie rather than standing on its own two feet and presenting something in a whole new way like Batman Begins did.

If you like movie scores you should check out the deluxe score for Oblivion by M83. The movie is directed by the guy who directed Tron: Legacy and the music sounds like a mix of Tron: Legacy, Inception, Drive, Man of Steel, and a little bit of Batman all in one. It's great!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Inception, Tron: Legacy, and The Dark Knight Rises are all kind of in a four way tie in that order for favorite film scores. I love anything by Hans Zimmer. I listen to all I can get my Hans on :)

I still have to watch Grand Budapest Hotel. I've been watching a TON of new movies lately but I plan on getting to that one soon.

Her is a great score as well. It really fits the mood of the film.

That profile pic of Hans is probably the best one I've seen. Sophistication and mayhem at once haha!

Here are the new movies I've been watching in the order I've been watching.

1. Psycho (1960): One of my favorite horror films now.

2. Beverly Hills Cop II

3. Good Morning, Vietnam: Really good Robin Williams movie.

4. Snow White and the Huntsman

5. The Crazies (1973): A great horror cult classic. Now I want to see the remake.

6. The Man in The Iron Mask: Early DiCaprio film

7. The Shining: FANTASTIC horror film. I neeeed it on Blu-ray.

8. Oblivion

9. 42

10. The Patriot

11. Death Proof: Now I've seen all the Tarantino films.

I really enjoyed all of them except Snow White might be kind of a one watch thing even though I enjoyed it. Man in the Iron Mask was just alright with DiCaprio and Jeremy Irons (voice of Scar on Lion King) carrying the film.

Fight Club is pretty great but...I can't talk about it :)

For new releases I'm looking forward to Interstellar as well. I'm also looking forward to Gone Girl, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Nightcrawler, and Birdman.

I hear that the Maze Runners is supposed to be good according to Mr. Dubae.

Yeah it was! Where is it ranked for you?

When do you plan on watching Lawless and Fight Club?

I recommend Lawless first. That one is very good. If you liked Shia in Fury he's good in this as well.

I'm really excited for Interstellar too. I'm right in the middle of re-watching all the Nolan movies chronologically. I hope it's good. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself after I see it. I've been waiting for it for so long it'll feel weird not being in such anticipation anymore.

Inception would be my favorite with The Dark Knight trilogy close behind. Inception does everything right plus it's an original concept not based on anything. Plus it has my favorite actor Leo DiCaprio.

The Dark Knight trilogy is very close behind. I love all three installments for different reasons. I see The Dark Knight as the overall best film but The Dark Knight Rises is my personal favorite for being an emotionally satisfying conclusion to the whole story.
