Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Neil Sedaka turns 73 today. In his honor, we have two films that feature his music:
Sextette vs. Sting of Death
Sextette is the last movie Mae West ever appeared in. It came eight years after her role in the legendary 1970 Hollywood fiasco Myra Breckinridge. Before that, she hadn’t been in a film since The Heat’s On back in 1943. By the time West starred in Sextette, which was based on a play that she wrote, the saucy actress was 85 years old.
