  1. Tauriel was easily my favorite thing about the entire “Hobbit” trilogy. (Second: Seeing Sauroman in action.) I grew up a DC Comics reader, but God’s honest truth: I think I’d be more interested to see a Tauriel trilogy than anything they’ve announced in the forthcoming DCU franchise. Though, really, all of these franchises are just things I watch to pass time between Bond movies.

      Personally, I’m excited. The Hobbit films were a visual triumph, and Tauriel was easily the most complex and interesting character. I’d love to see where the story can take her arc next!
