A bit off-topic, but Netflix streamers should be aware that the Criterion Collection has entered into an exclusive arrangement with Hulu Plus. Discs will still be available to be rented, but by year’s end Criterion titles will no longer be available to Watch Instantly. I think there comes a point where exclusivity becomes a liability, and I for one feel that Criterion has reached that point with this deal. I know I personally would never have explored the handful of their releases that I have seen had it not been for Netflix streaming.
