L’Age d’Or was awesome! Just saw it a few months ago for the first time. More cinephiles know about Un Chien Andalou, but Dali and Bunuel topped themselves with their follow up film. L’Age d’Or has an actual plot and makes some form of linear sense, but that honestly makes it even more provocative… this is a movie with something to say. So much so that it was more or less buried for decades after its premiere. Anyone who enjoys a good mind-screw should give this one a shot.
