Director David Wain’s Wanderlust comes out this weekend, so let’s highlight his two best previous works:
Wet Hot American Summer vs. Role Models
To me, there’s no contest here, Role Models is fun but Wet Hot is pretty much perfect in every way. To Flickcharters as a whole though, it’s much closer:

Where do you stand?
This Sunday (Feb 25th), 13 episodes of pure comedic bliss are coming to Netflix Instant Watch in the form of Archer season two!
Archer is TV comedy on steroids. It’s the perfect combo of dark, surreal, silly and hyper-intelligent comedy in one little show. The pacing is relentless as jokes fly out at a rate of roughly one per second. And amazingly enough, the stories don’t ever suffer or get pushed into the background much because of it either.
The shows centers around Sterling Archer and the spy agency he belongs to: ISIS. ISIS is just like any other office, except everybody is just a little off and many, many hilariously filthy hijinks ensue. The writing is brilliant, the voice cast is beyond brilliant and everything comes together beautifully the whole season.
The middle of the season includes a cancer storyline that blew my mind. Easily my favorite few episodes of TV ever made. As a cancer survivor myself, it was cathartic in a way to see Sterling Archer rampage his way through the Irish Mob while playing his own twisted game of Family Feud. I’m not saying that I would’ve kneecapped anybody while I was getting chemo but I see the appeal in doing so.
The season continues strong until the very end (and picked up right where it left off in Season 3, which is currently airing on FX) and is highly recommended.
