I’m not sure if this week is more a case of quality than quantity but it is definitely a lighter slate of releases.
Shutter Island – (Blu-ray and DVD)
Yet another hit for Scorsese and DiCaprio. Really excited to pick this up, hope we’ll see more “genre” films from the both of them in the future.

From Paris With Love – (Blu-ray and DVD)
I would love to watch an alternate universe version of this movie with Nic Cage as the lead. He would have Travolta’s same goofy look and everything. How much longer until computers can do this for us?

Not the Messiah: He’s a Very Naughty Boy – (Blu-ray and DVD)
Monty Python’s “The Life of Brian” as a one-night, musical theater event. I can’t imagine this being anything but a great big pile of fun.
Shinjuku Incident – (DVD)
Jackie Chan in a new movie rated R for “Graphic Violence.” If only Hollywood would use him this way.
