Happy to see this has been well-received by the Flickchart community. The first two (yes, both) are classics and it’s nice to see the series return to being bad-ass. Check out Flickchart user johnmason’s review.

If you are in any way a Dolph Lundgren fan, you should definitely give this a shot. It’s pretty fantastic.

Director Alejandro Amenabar’s tale of Christianity during the Roman Empire. Rachel Weisz stars.
And that’s about it. Everything else is essentially just DTV that doesn’t feature Dolph Lundgren and smaller, but in most cases interesting, movies. Here’s a quick list:
- Mirrors 2 – DTV sequel starring Nick Stahl
- Night of the Demons – DTV horror starring Edward Furlong and Shannon Elizabeth
- Giallo – Director Dario Argento’s latest, featuring Adrien Brody
- Six Wives of Henry Lefay – Tim Allen and a bunch of attractive women like Paz Vega and Elisha Cuthbert.
- Please Give – Catherine Keener and Oliver Platt in a movie about a rich Manhattan family.
- Assault Girls – Rinko Kikuchi (of Babel fame) in a flick about 3 ladies sent into a virtual world.
- Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl – The title says it all, doesn’t it?
- Shoot the Hero – DTV featuring Jason Mewes and Danny Trejo

Adrien Brody stars in the new movie I’m looking most forward to this Tuesday. I love science fiction stories about experiments gone wrong and it looks like most Flickchart users have been rating this one very well.

I generally am OK with remakes if for no other reason than they finally give me some incentive to watch the original. The original was a solid little Rocky-clone and everything I’ve heard about this modern remake seems to be pretty positive too.

I don’t have the stomach to watch a human centipede in action but I am impressed by how nuts this movie seems to be.

I actually kinda liked the first Space Chimps. It’s a little ridiculous, brightly-colored and features some decent voice acting. Can’t say I’m excited to see what a DTV sequel looks like though.

If it wasn’t for next week’s Micmacs, this would be my most anticipated comedy of the summer. Don’t let my top 20 fool you, I am a huge fan of big, dumb action comedies like this. It’s a weakness I have. This has the potential to earn a spot next to the likes of Hot Fuzz for movies I have to watch at least once a month while “working” from home.
