"Both are highly flawed; I'd much rather watch The Lady Eve for a Preston Sturges fix, and Braveheart for a Mel Gibson Epic fix. But Palm Beach Story still has some of the sexiest scenes in the screwball comedy genre, while The Patriot's Lord Tavington is one of the screen's great villains. Hmmm. This is tougher than I originally thought. I'll have to give it for Sturges for clever scripting, though, I think."
