Good to see you back on. Was thinking you might have moved back. I've got 2 more boxes of movies since last time, one of them amazingly a large Hallmark haul.

Wow, I can't believe you scored Hallmark movies! Did you check how much they go for on amazon? I've noticed that some are very expensive while others are not worth as much. I found one at the hock shop for a buck and it's only worth about $6 but it doesn't say Hallmark anywhere on the cover, only a small "Hallmark Channel" emblem on the back, whereas something like Bramble House Christmas has their big gold Hallmark stamp and fancy red border all on the front and costs an arm and a leg. In any case, I'm glad you got some much coveted wholesome and relaxing viewing material.

Yeah some are official Hallmark movies, some only say "As Seen on the Hallmark channel". Also ended up with tons of TV seasons I've no use for such as One Tree Hill, Big Bang Theory, 21 Jump Street.....

Giant Tiger appears not to be selling DVDs anymore. Visited 2 locations today and not a one. Let me know if your local GT is still stocking, but I fear it may all be over with them.

We only have 1 GT here and it's not really in an area I ever visit. They have only become a last resort for dvd shopping in recent years anyway. If you're charging $6 for a movie then you deserve to go the way of the dodo. However I will always remember them fondly for providing me my copy of Frankenweenie. RIP

GT was all about the Easter eggs for me, but yeah, they dont seem to like money as much now. BTW Dollarama is also setting up special horror DVD sections in their Halloween aisles. Mostly crud, but always worth a look at those prices.

Cool. I have a Dollarama right next to my work and have scored some good titles there before so I'll definitely check that out.
